'Rockers shine at CSC Twilight meet
CHADRON, Neb. --- The South Dakota School of Mines men's and women's indoor track and field teams traveled to Chadron, Neb., over the weekend to compete in the Twilight Invitational hosted by Chadron State. The Hardrockers did very well as another SD Mines school record fell and seven more personal-best performances (PB) were achieved.

DENVER, Colo. --- The South Dakota School of Mines men's basketball team defeated Johnson and Wales University, 88-73, Saturday night during the JWU Hoops Classic in Denver, Colo. The win is the fourth in a row for the Hardrockers as they improve their overall record to 13-10.

Lady 'Rockers cruise to win over JWU, 96-73

DENVER, Colo. --- The South Dakota School of Mines women's basketball team defeated the Johnson and Wales Lady Wildcats, 96-73, Saturday evening during the JWU Hoops Classic in Denver, Colo. The win is the sixth in a row for the Lady Hardrockers as they improved their overall record to 14-8.

Joe Burger hired as first-ever men's soccer coach

RAPID CITY --- The South Dakota School of Mines recently announced the addition of a men's soccer program to the Hardrocker Athletics Department beginning in the fall of 2012. The program is already starting to take shape as Wednesday the Hardrockers announced the hiring of the team's first-ever head coach --- Joe Burger.

RAPID CITY ---The South Dakota School of Mines and Hardrocker football head coach Stacy Collins are pleased to announce the signing of eight top-notch football recruits for 2012 and welcome them to the program Wednesday as part of the NCAA National Signing Day.
