When the South Dakota School of Mines women's basketball team fell to Jamestown College 77-64 in the semifinals of the Dakota Athletic Conference Tournament, the Hardrockers' season was over.

RAPID CITY --- For the past four years at the South Dakota School of Mines, the men's basketball team has taken on several different looks. There was a veteran-laden squad that challenged for a Dakota Athletic Conference Tournament championship. There was a team that didn't start a single upperclassman and learned how difficult winning can be.

Brill finishes 20th at Nationals

RAPID CITY --- South Dakota School of Mines weight thrower Everett Brill made his first trip to the NAIA National Indoor Championships Friday in Johnson City, Tenn., where the Elko, Nev., native finished the event in 20th place after a throw of 53-feet-5.50-inches (16.29 meters).

'Rockers earn two All-Conference picks and two post season awards

RAPID CITY --- With the conclusion of the 2009-10 Dakota Athletic Conference basketball seasons the DAC All-Conference teams were announced for both men and women. The South Dakota School of Mines received one selection for the men and one for the women as well as earning a pair of post-season individual awards for the Lady Hardrockers.

JAMESTOWN, N.D. --- The Jamestown College men's basketball team connected on 13 three-pointers in the Dakota Athletic Conference title bout against the South Dakota School of Mines which was a big factor in the Jimmies 79-57 win over the Hardrockers, Tuesday night in Jamestown, N.D.

AMESTOWN, N.D. --- After two impressive postseason victories on the road, the South Dakota School of Mines men's basketball team hopes to continue that success as the Hardrockers will compete for the Dakota Athletic Conference Tournament Championship Tuesday night in Jamestown, N.D., against the Jamestown College Jimmies.
