In the fall of 2010, the Hardrocker cheerleading squad was brought back onto campus for the first time since the 1970's. Over the last couple years, we have been very involved in school events and leadership. We have participated in various events on campus such as the homecoming parade, paint the town, coronation and this year we put on our first pep rally. Even though we are new to campus and new to the community we have performed at the Rapid City Chamber of Commerce's annual meeting, served as the judging panel for the Lakota Nation Invitational Competition and we have attended the Mines Medal dinner and award ceremony to support our Mines community. The squad cheers at football games and we support all athletics teams throughout their seasons as well. As a squad we always strive to increase school spirit and sportsmanship at events. We have impressed the crowds with our elite stunts-you would never know we are a new squad!
