'Rocker XC teams earn Div. II All-Academic Team honors

NEW ORLEANS, La. --- The South Dakota School of Mines men's and women's cross country teams became the first Hardrocker Athletics programs to receive scholastic honors from the NCAA when both squads recently received NCAA Div. II All-Academic Team Honors.
Nov. 5 Hardrock Club Coaches' Luncheon re-broadcast

The Hardrock Club held it's weekly luncheon Monday in the Christensen Hall of Fame Room on the campus of South Dakota Mines. The featured speakers for the luncheon were head football coach Stacy Collins, senior offensive lineman Brian Freed, head volleyball coach Tiffany McCampbell and men's and women's head cross country coach Jerry Schafer.

JOPLIN, Mo. --- The South Dakota School of Mines men's and women's cross country teams became the first Hardrocker programs in school history to participate in NCAA post-season competition this past weekend when both squads competed at the NCAA Div. II Central Region Cross Country Championships in Joplin, Mo.
