RAPID CITY --- The old guys were overmatched this time.
One would expect a friendly scrimmage between the South Dakota School of Mines varsity and its grizzled alumni to be stacked heavily in favor of the younger squad, but the alumni were just two years removed from a victory over the varsity in the annual classic that puts a period on spring football drills.
The South Dakota School of Mines football team has been working hard during the off-season in preparation for the 2013 season. The Hardrockers have gone through workouts in the gym on the field as well as participating in team building exercises to unite the group as the season fast approaches.
Photos from Saturday's 'Rocker Youth Football Camp held on Dunham Field at O'Harra Stadium. It was a great turnout and a great day. Over 250 campers were in attendance as Hardrocker football players and coaching staff had a fun time.
