 Tyrell earned his second straight DAC First Team selection in 2008 He was the Hardrockers' second leading tacklers on the year with 74 total. Tyrell looks to finish strong in 2009 and hopes to have his most productive year. Off the field, Tyrell got married this past summer.

Jason Beilstein

Senior

Tight End Height: 6'5"

Interdisciplinary Sciences

Parents: Marena Henne and John Beilstein Jason proved to be a great asset to the Hardrockers offense. After spending his first two seasons as a signal caller, Jason was converted to tight end last season and was the quarterback's favorite target catching 46 passes for 508 yards and scored five touchdowns. He also earned 2nd team DAC All-Conference honors.

Marc was a member of the National Honor Society in High School as well as the class valedictorian. He spent his first three season adding depth for the Hardrockers and now will step into a leadership role during his senior season.

Cliff Kling

Cliff is one of three brothers on the  SD Mines football team. Cliff is a National Honors Society member, all conference honorable mention and earned an Outstanding Lineman Award from his Belle Fourche High School team. Cliff grew up on a ranch and enjoys the work.

Eric enjoys playing the game of football. And as a 320 pound lineman he is a welcome addition to offensive front. In high school Eric was football letterman and was a member of the Academic Challenge Team.

Kayne got even bigger in the off-season adding 15 pounds to his already massive frame. As a junior he was a huge obstacle for defenses to get through.  He earned DAC Honorable Mention honors. When he's away from football, Kayne likes to hunt, fish, ride motorcycles and play other sport.

Bruce is a versatile lineman, with a lot of mass that can play on either offense or defense. He had a pretty good season as a junior and will also be looked to as a leader on the field for his younger teammates.

Zach will join the 2009 Hardrocker football team as a student coach. An injury suffered in the last game of the 2008 season ended Zach's football playing career. Zach was a standout in his three years at SDM and his absence from the field will be felt. Zach will use his knowlege as a player to help his defensive teammates this year.
