
RAPID CITY - The South Dakota School of Mines men's soccer team will play host to the 2013 Winter College ID Camp for male soccer players in grades 9-12 Feb. 16 from 8:30 a.m. to 8:30 p.m. (meals will be provided).
The cost of the camp is $100 and will be held on the SD Mines campus. Training sessions and competitive games will take place indoor at the King Center and outdoor on Dunham Field at O'Harra Stadium (weather permitting).
"Our coaching staff is looking forward to helping you improve your soccer skills this winter," said Hardrocker men's soccer head coach Joe Burger. "Our College ID Camp is designed to give you a glimpse into what it is like to be NCAA Div. II soccer player."
The curriculum for the camp includes: technical training, tactical training, weight room demonstration, college recruiting talk, small sided games, and a campus tour.
"After attending the camp, you will have the full understanding of what it is like to be a player in the Hardrocker soccer program," Burger added.
